The Montrose Avalanche Soccer Club is a non-profit, volunteer organization devoted to the development of youth soccer in Montrose and the surrounding areas. Our club is a member of the Colorado Soccer Association, and participates in the Mountain Region league, as well as the Advanced League in Denver.

OUR GOALS • Elevate the skills of the area’s youth soccer players; • Instill a long-lasting love for the game of soccer; • Foster sportsmanship in the hearts and minds of the players, parents, and coaches; • Provide the opportunity for competitive play against other club teams in the Mountain Region

The Montrose Avalanche Soccer Club Board of Directors is dedicated to working with local community groups and our sponsors to ensure the safety and well-being of Montrose area players and families. Our Drug and Alcohol Free Pledge is our commitment to providing a quality program that promotes health, sportsmanship and teamwork on and off the field.

OUR COMPETITION

The majority of teams  in the Montrose Avalanche Soccer Club participate in the Mountain Region league.  The league creates a unified regional league dedicated to player development, referee recruitment, training and improvement; coaching education, and game improvements to ensure the quality and integrity of soccer for the youth players who reside in the mountains. The league includes teams from Crested Butte, Aspen, Telluride, and all teams in between.

A few of our teams participate in the Advanced League in Denver, providing an even higher level of competition and requiring a higher commitment level from parents and players.

• 176 Players
• U9 – U18 age groups (boys and girls)
• Tournament Play: CSA Cup Tournament, Durango Shootout, select Front Range tournaments, select out of state tournaments
• Developmental and Competitive play against club teams from across the Mountain Region & the Advanced League in Denver
